Last Christmas posting: Christmas Tree at Charlotte Square
Well, that’s the end of Christmas I guess. I hope you’ve enjoyed the postings on The Edinburgh Blog of the Christmas lights in Edinburgh for 2021 and that you’re not too disappointed with the lights I didn’t manage to grab on film e..g Leith and Grassmarket.
I’ll end the Edinburgh Christmas postings with a photo I took of the Christmas Tree in Charlotte Square, that is located to the East of George Street. This is the ‘Tree of Remembrance’ and formed Saint Columba’s Hospices ‘Light a Light‘ campaign. The website shows just over £37,000 being raised for this charitable cause, with a further update on the figure to come.
