This Friday I payed some pubs either in or near to Polwarth a visit including The Ardmillan Hotel, The Diggers, The Caley Sample Room, The Golden Rule and The Polwarth Tavern.

Oloroso, Edinburgh’s very good restaurant on North Castle St, was my venue for Lunch; bread and olives, a curry, chips and some pints of Kirin Ichiban.

Wok & Wine’s Edinburgh home delivery service, from their Frederick St Chinese restaurant, for some Cantonese Duck mains and beef dumplings for starter.

From this takeaway order with Edinburgh’s Taste Good restaurant I gained a very good impression of this Slateford road takeaway/restaurant.

Edinburgh’s Sizzling Scot is Dalry Roads steakhouse and it’s where I have ate three Aberdeen Angus steaks since its opening.

Edinburgh Farmers’ Market was where I headed this Saturday for some stall browsing and organice produce shopping on Castle Terrace.
